Kaffir limes are a slow growing small shrub that is ideal in a container as it grows to about 1.5 m and it tolerate it drier from time to time. It has unusal lobed leaves which are a favourite in Thai or Malaysian cooking  and producers bumpy skinned fruit, the zest of which can also be used .It has a good rating on being pest and disease resistant but will need protection from a serve frost.
